Since we opened our doors in 1987…
We have had the fantastic opportunity of working with students from all over the world, learning from them as much as they have from us, and helping them to grow, often year after year, in what we feel is a very unique environment.
At our core, we are a family. Our own children have grown up around our programmes. Our families, relations and friends have studied with us and worked for us, serving an exciting and educational apprenticeship that has helped them to grow as internationally-minded people with an excellent work ethic and an energetic approach to life.
It is this attitude and this desire to provide positive life experiences for all our students that we instill in our staff. A desire to know the individuals in our care, to be positive role models for a full and active life, to be open to new ideas and experiences, to promote respect and tolerance, and to take responsibility for yourself and your actions.
We have been asked many times what makes Haut-Lac different from other Camps and it really comes down to three things:
Our staff – we choose and train our staff according to a tried and trusted method that focuses on ensuring a great experience for each student. We provide our staff with great working conditions and plenty of free time to recharge their batteries and maintain their energy and enthusiasm which is vital to successfully working with young people.
Our programme – nowhere else will you find a better quality all-inclusive programme offering such a wide array of sports, activities and excursions.
Our care – we deliver exactly what we promise which is a caring, fun and exciting programme. Students may not always get exactly what they want, but we strive to help them learn what they need!
We would love to get to know you and provide you with an unforgettable adventure!!
With best wishes The Mc Shanes, Harwoods and Dublers
